With the goal of developing high-quality human resources in the automotive technology industry, Hino Motors Vietnam has decided to sponsor a HINO FM8JN7A truck for training and practice at CTECH on March 5, 2025.
Across three decades of operation in Vietnam, Hino Motors Vietnam (HMV) has not only established itself as a leading truck brand through the quality of its vehicles but has also demonstrated its commitment to the community, especially in education and training.
With the launch of the Hino Euro 5 emission standard truck line since October 2024, Hino Motors Vietnam has decided to sponsor the FM8JN7A-Euro4 truck – previously used for dealer service training – to the Polytechnic College of Engineering and Technology (CTECH) so that this truck can continue its mission, supporting students in their learning and research.
The sponsor of the FM truck to the CTECH embodies Hino Motors’ Vietnam mission to enhance practical skills and knowledge for future engineers and technicians in the automotive technology industry.
The Hino FM truck handover ceremony was held at the Technology & Mechanical Engineering Practice Workshop of CTECH, with the participation of senior executives from Hino Motors Vietnam, representatives from Hino Viet Dang dealership, the school’s board of directors, Hai Phong Group’s leadership, and nearly 200 students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Technology.
” In the context of Vietnam’s rapidly growing automotive industry, the demand for highly skilled professionals is increasing. Therefore, the support of major enterprises like Hino Motors Vietnam plays a crucial role in providing students with opportunities to study and practice in real-world.

Mr. Yoshio Osaka, General Director of Hino Motors Vietnam, expressed: “We are delighted and proud that the teachers and students of CTECH College will use the sponsored truck in their daily teaching and learning activities. This will contribute to training outstanding professionals not only for Vietnam but also for the global automotive industry.”

At the event, both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), reaffirming the strong partnership between CTECH and Hino Motors Vietnam. This collaboration also paves the way for new opportunities in training, hands-on practice, and career development for students in the Automotive Technology program.
After the signing ceremony, students had the opportunity to engage with experts from Hino Motors Vietnam, gaining direct insights into the structural systems, technology, and advanced standards of Hino trucks.

Hino Motors Vietnam believes that the Hino FM8JN7A truck will serve as a source of inspiration for learning and will accompany CTECH Automotive Technology students on their journey of education and career development in the future.
