After more than 25 years of construction and development since our first appearance in Vietnam in 1996, overcoming numerous difficulties and challenges, Hino Motors Vietnam has now become one of the leading truck manufacturers in Vietnam. The trucks that produced at the Hino Motors Vietnam factory equipped with advanced technology, high quality, and maximum safety during operation on the road, are the dedication of all Hino staff and workers.

On February 17, 2023, to mark a very important milestone of Hino Motors in Vietnam and to look back on the company’s construction and development journey, the ceremony to celebrate the 50,000th truck produced by Hino Motors Vietnam was held in a vibrant atmosphere at the factory in Hanoi.The event was honored to have the attendance of HMV BOD and the entire staff of the company as well as guests from Hino Motors Limited (Japan), Hino Motors Asia, representatives of shareholders and government agencies.

In the context of the global economy and supply chain still facing many difficulties after the pandemic, the 50,000th truck milestone is even more significance and demonstrates the relentless efforts of Hino Motors Vietnam over the past years.

The 50,000th truck produced at Hino Motors Vietnam

During the commemoration ceremony, the General Director of Hino Motors Vietnam – Mr. Yoshio Osaka recalled the past journey and expressed his thanks to all related parties: “Since starting production in 1997, Hino Motors Vietnam has always tried to carry out the work with the motto of safety of workers first, taking care of every little bit of the truck with the principle of providing high quality trucks to the Vietnamese market. The road was not flat with many initial problems but were solved later thanks to the cooperation of domestic and foreign stakeholders and suppliers. The 50,000th truck produced today is the result of the hard work and continuous efforts of each member of the Hino Vietnam team, as well as the enthusiastic support of Hoang Mai district and Hanoi city.”

Representative of Hino Motors Japan, Mr. Atsuchi Serizawa also congratulated Hino Motors Vietnam: “Since the milestone of the first 1,000 trucks in 2007, the company has made remarkable progress thanks to the continuous efforts and improvements of all Hino Motors Vietnam employees. I believe that human resource development and innovation are the foundation of Hino’s operations.”
