ECO DRIVING – One of the biggest programs of Hino Motors Vietnam of the year, with the aim of guiding the driving safety & saving fuel that was successfully organized at the Exhibition Center – Da Nang city, from 30 – 31/8/2019.

Following the success of the series of events in nationwide, 41 drivers from companies of Hino have experienced the official training program, with all updated processes and Applied according to the standard framework of Hino global system.

Main activities are as follows:

1. Guide drivers to driving safety techniques – Fuel economy
2. Guide the daily vehicle inspection on the vehicle.
3. Practice exams between drivers
4. Answer the questions of customers and drivers.
5. Other activities such as: experiencing the reality of the importance of wearing a seatbelt, The danger when using alcohol when taking traffic.

As a result of the implementation of fuel economy technology, improvements have been made. Fuel consumption in standard conditions of the program, averaging 9.1% for the Hino XZU 300 series, 17.5% for the Hino FG 500 series. The results directly attributed to this customer demonstrate the positive benefits that Customer Care – Driver Training provides.

During the event, Mr. Nguyen Duc Huan – An Phu Vien Company shared with Hino:

 “I appreciate this program of Hino very much. The training knowledge in the program is very useful. I am a driver with more than 30 years of driving experience, used to drive many kinds of trucks, now still owning a transport business, but still find myself lacking a lot. After training, the results obtained when test drive have changed significantly compared to the result when driving a routine.

The training content is easy to understand with our drivers. I think Hino should regularly organize these courses for drivers. All drivers must learn to know these things, if they do not practiced, they can not understand.

Safety driving and saving fuel is very important. Fuel cost accounts for 65-70% of main transportation cost, nearly 3 times higher than toll fee. For the drivers in my company, I always remind them to drive at a speed of less than 60 km / h. Just to ensure safety, while saving fuel”.

Another customer, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoang – the hot grid repair team (EVN Da Nang) also expressed excitement:

“Hino organized this program very well. After the program, I gained a lot of knowledge about saving fuel driving, and tested vehicle before working.

In my company’s fleet, I also use other brand’s truck but I have never seen them organize such training. This is also an advantage of Hino that needs to be promoted in the future. In addition to quality assurance, customer service, there are training courses like these that are cherished by our drivers. ”

Mr. Phan Van Phong – driver of Phu Hoa Construction Joint Stock Company, with over 9 years of driving experience, shared his feeling in the first time he joined the program.

 “This program of Hino should expand in many other localities as well, so that many customers can approach it with the purpose is really good. A lot of drivers have not approach these knowledge. For example, I also learned more about the working principle of truck’s Cuppo, to know how to operate the truck better.

In general, the Hino truck operate smoothly, the engine sound is much quieter than any trucks I’ve driven before. In addition, the dealer is attentive care and maintenance. In every maintenance schedule, dealer is proactively contact customers bring the truck to station. Now there are more useful training courses. I think that Hino needs to try to organize more and more this kind of programs”.

Following the success of the Eco Driving series, Hino Motors Vietnam will continue to implement this program in the Hanoi area, scheduled for October 2019.
