ECO DRIVING – One of the biggest programs of Hino Motors Vietnam of the year, with the aim of guiding the driving safety & saving fuel that was successfully organized at the Dong Mo Ethnic Cultural Village, in October 25 & 26.

Following the success of the series of events in nationwide, 61 drivers from companies of Hino have experienced the official training program, with all updated processes and Applied according to the standard framework of Hino global system.

Main activities are as follows:

1. Guide drivers to driving safety techniques – Fuel economy
2. Guide the daily vehicle inspection on the vehicle.
3. Practice exams between drivers
4. Answer the questions of customers and drivers.
5. Other activities such as: experiencing the reality of the importance of wearing a seatbelt, The danger when using alcohol when taking traffic.

As a result of the implementation of fuel economy technology, improvements have been made. Fuel consumption in standard conditions of the program, averaging 20.1% for the Hino XZU 300 series, 20.3% for the Hino FG 500 series. The results directly attributed to this customer demonstrate the positive benefits that Customer Care – Driver Training provides.

During the event, customer Nguyen Tien Lam – Quang Tuan Service and Trading Co., Ltd excitedly said: “This is a useful program to help drivers better understand the features of the vehicle and better understand its equipment, such as signal lights on the dashboard. Before 2014, I used a lot of other brand trucks, but ever since we experienced Hino trucks, the company decided to convert the fleet to 100% Hino. The safety factors of the Hino are very good, since buying Hino until now, I have not had any problems with them. I always remind our drivers to check the vehicle periodically, go for maintenance on time to ensure the trucks are always in the best condition.”

Mr. Tran Xuan Tien – Tin Nghia Co., Ltd. shared with Hino: “I am very grateful to Hino for creating the opportunity for all of us to participate in such a rewarding program. The training knowledge is very practical, I hope to have more time to participate to be able to communicate with Hino experts more and more deeply. After this program, I will ask the management of the company to send more people to attend the training, ask for more documents to better apply this knowledge when operating our fleet.”

The program held in Hanoi is also the last milestone marking the success of the Eco Driving series of events that took place throughout 2019 throughout Vietnam.
