On the morning of June 30, 2023 in Vung Tau, Southern urban environment and industrial zone association (The Association) held 5-year work (2018-2023) review conference with over 500 delegates and invited guests attending.

Hino trucks have long been trusted by many customers in the urban environment industry with a variety of applications: garbage trucks, sludge and drain cleaners, road sweepers,… thanks to its high quality, durable operation and reasonable price.  Hino Motors Vietnam is proud to be the diamond sponsor of this event of The Association.

The conference was attended by representatives of many government departments:

– Mr. Nguyen Huu Tien – Permanent Vice President of Vietnam urban environment and industrial zone association

– Ms. Le Thi Thanh Binh – Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the people’s council of Vung Tau City

– Mr. Vu Hong Thuan – Vice Chairman of Vung Tau people’s committee…

In addition, the event also had the presence of representatives of companies and organizations specializing in manufacturing and supplying vehicles, equipment and supplies for environmental sanitation across the country that have accompanied the urban environment industry.

This event is an important milestone to look back on the achievements and challenges that The Association has faced in the past term.

Currently, The Association has 84 members. Over the past time, the chapters have been proactive in their work, contributing to improving the quality of service and efficiency of environmental protection activities:

– Renovate technological processes, specialized equipment for environmental sanitation in some provinces and cities in the Southern region such as investing in suction sweepers, road irrigation trucks, suction trucks …

– Develop and exploit at full capacity hazardous waste treatment plants, landfills, garbage treatment and waste recycling according to advanced technology

– Invest in building toxic industrial waste incinerators, medical waste … with modern technology

– Apply information technology, automation, data digitization in the organization and management of environmental sanitation.

In 2023-2028, The Association will focus on key tasks such as: implementing digital transformation to develop breakthroughs in modern technology, high-quality human resources and advanced management in the organization, management of environmental protection; link chapters in the region to overcome specific difficulties in mechanisms and policies to call for investment in the collection, transportation and treatment of solid waste, especially industrial waste and hazardous waste.

On this occasion, the members re-elected the executive committee of The Association, accordingly Mr. Phan Hong Thai – Chairman of Ho Chi Minh city urban environment Co., Ltd. is President of The Association.

Wish the new term of The Association continued success. Through this, Hino Motors Vietnam would also like to express our desire to continue contributing to environmental protection and sustainable development of society.
