Eco Driving is part of the total support program for customers organized by Hino Motors Vietnam and 3S Dealer network. The program focuses on delivering driving techniques for drivers, to operate Hino vehicles safer and more fuel-efficient on every road. Through this activity, Hino Motors Vietnam wishes to better support to the business of customers who have chosen Hino and affirms Hino is always customers’ reliable business partner.

On 23 and 24/12, the program was held in Hai Phong with the following main activities:

1. Practical guide to daily vehicle inspection on the vehicle.
2. Technical instructions for driving safely – saving fuel.
3. Introduce and answer questions about Hino Genuine Parts.
4. Answer the drivers’ questions.
5. Practice test on the road.
6. Other activities: experiencing the reality of the importance of wearing seat belts, the dangers of using alcohol when participating in traffic, playing the minigame “Check in FB & Zalo, sharing and receiving gifts”.

The results of implementation the technique of operating fuel-efficient vehicles have shown marked improvement. Fuel consumption in the standard program conditions improved significantly, with an average reduction of 16.4 % for the Hino 300 Series, 16.6 % for the Hino 500 Series. The results recorded directly by the customers themselves have proved the positive benefits that the Eco-driving Event – Safety Driving & Fuel Saving Training brings to customers.

I hope that in the future this program will add training content of more diverse types of vehicles, example tractor head which is the main vehicles used in my company. Mr. Truong Duc Hoa comes from Nippon express (Viet Nam) Co., Ltd shared: “This is the 2nd time I’ve participated in the Eco-driving program, the first time was 7-8 years ago. This program is very useful, help me to understand about Hino trucks and daily vehicle inspection,  saving fuel driving. The learning content is also very practical, drivers who have leant can apply on daily duty. I’ve been driving for 25 years and also used through many different types of trucks. Hino trucks have outstanding quality, overcome more errors than other models, especially with spacious cabins, good shock absorbers to make long-distance driving very comfortable.”

Through the sharing of customers, Hino Motors Vietnam is very proud and has more and more motivation to offer safe and effective trips.
