HINO’S TRAINING PROGRAM FOR SAFE DRIVING AND FUEL SAVING

Eco Driving is part of the total support program for customers organized by Hino Motors Vietnam and 3S Dealer network. The program focuses on delivering driving techniques for drivers, to operate Hino vehicles safer and more fuel-efficient on every road. Through this activity, Hino Motors Vietnam wishes to better support to the business of customers who have chosen Hino and affirms Hino is always customers’ reliable business partner.

Following previous successful events, on 1^st and 2^nd March 2024, the program was organized in Can Tho, attracting the participation of 50 drivers with the following main activities:

1. Practical guide to daily vehicle inspection on the vehicle.
2. Technical instructions for driving safely – saving fuel.
3. Introduce and answer questions about Hino Genuine Parts.
4. Introduce Hino application.
5. Practice test on the road.
6. Other activities: experiencing the reality of the importance of wearing seat belts, the dangers of using alcohol when participating in traffic,…

The results of implementing fuel-efficient driving techniques have shown significant improvements. Fuel consumption under the program’s standard conditions decreased by an average of 14.6% and 18% respectively on 1st and 2nd March, 2024 for the Hino XZU 300 series. For the Hino 500 series, reductions of 41.5% và 30.8% were recorded on the respective days. These results, directly observed by the customers, have demonstrated the positive benefits that the Eco-driving Event – Safety Driving & Fuel Saving Training provides.

Mr. Vu Anh Tu – Fleet Manager of Nhat Quang Co., Ltd., commented: “The program content is very beneficial. This is my first time participating in such a program, and next time, I will definitely have more employees registered to join. Regarding Hino trucks, we currently have 4 ones in our fleet, all operating very smoothly. The trucks are durable, and staff of dealers are very enthusiastic about customer care.”
