From June to August, Hino’s authorized 3S dealer nationwide became exciting with the appearance of the new Hino truck line up meet Euro 4 emission standard, the new member of the Hino trucks “family”. “Greening” needs a process

In order to bring the “green” trucks to the community, Hino started the research and development of its products. It is also one of the first targets set in Hino’s “Environmental Challenge 2050” campaign.

In addition to the mission of delivering more powerful, better performance for new products, Hino is constantly working on new solutions to minimize the impact on the environment. Not only doing research on new fuel economy technologies, the reduction of volume and the use of environmentally-friendly materials are also another Hino’s “multi-purpose” solution: saving on installation and maintenance costs, on the other hand, minimizing the amount of CO2 emitted to the environment.

The new technology in the Euro 4 truck line up of Hino Motors Vietnam is the result of this stage. Equipped with an Exhaust Gas Circulation (EGR), Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), electronic fuel injection system that helps vehicles optimize fuel efficiency. This helps reduce the amount of toxic substances to the environment during the trucks operation.

 “Environmental Challenge 2050” cannot lack the task of “greening” the production process – one of the leading environmental polluters today. As a highly demanding production line, environmental protection challenges will become ever more difficult for Hino.

In order to balance these factors, the company has implemented a number of practical measures, from simplifying production processes, reducing waste to the recycling of raw materials to reuse for the next production, take advantage of renewable energy sources, etc. With these efforts, Hino is aiming to be “green” factory that can produce, mass-produce and remain friendly to nature and the environment at the same time.
