Around 14:30 the day 6-9, in the last part of Bao Loc Pass, on Highway 20 (running through the town of Ri Dam, Da Hoai District), truck driver Phan Van Bac (30 years old, live in zones 6, Da Hoai town, Da Hoai district, Lam Dong province) ran from Bao Loc City – HCMC

Passenger bus after the crash

When the driver ran over the location, he detected 42 seat passenger bus driver (under the Trading – Logistic Tan Ha) Toan, (40 years, Long An province) was driving in the front. The bus seemed to be loose the lead and passengers all was panic.

Mr. Bac took the lead, drived in front of bus, and then let it crashed into the back of the truck.

With the bus behind, Mr. Bac chose to decelerate slowly the speed all the way downhill and stopped at a flat position. When both vehicles stopped, they were damaged, but the driver and all the passengers arrived safely.

As Initial information, the time of losing the brake, the vehicle was carrying about 30 passengers. The distance the truck went off the pass to help the passenger bus is about 1km.

Talking to the driver by telephone, Mr. Bac said his truck was still under police custody authorities to clarify the case.

“When you see the passengers lean out the car window screaming, I knew something was wrong. I almost lost my soul as I heard two car collision, but the incident helped bus stop. After all, when looking at two vehicles damaged, I felt scared.” Told Mr. Bac.
