With the goal of raising customer awareness about the importance of performing standard maintenance procedures, using genuine services and spare parts, so that Hino trucks are always maintained in the best condition, maximizing operational uptime and minimizing operating costs, Hino Motors Vietnam (HMV) has launched and applied “HINO MAINTENANCE PROGRAM – HMP” from 2021 to present. In response to positive feedback from customers, HMV has upgraded the program with more benefits for customers nationwide who are using domestically assembled Hino trucks and maintain the program for SS2P -Euro5 tractor head.
Objective of the program:
- • Series 300 vehicles: Support for 14 maintenance times, up to 260,000 km, increasing 5 maintenance times.
- • Series 500 vehicles: Support for maintenance 18 times, up to 340,000 km, increasing 7 maintenance times.
Duration: Within 60 months (5 years), extended by 2 years from the date of warranty registration or milage, whichever comes first.
- • Series 700 vehicles (SS2P – Euro 5): Support for 11 maintenance times, up to 300,000 km
Duration: Within 36 months (3 years) from the date of warranty registration or milage, whichever comes first.

Applied condition:
- • New vehicles sold from October 20, 2023 or vehicles sold from April 1, 2021 to October 19, 2023 with the condition of participating in HMP.
- • For vehicles sold from April 1, 2021 to October 19, 2023 that are not participating in HMP, the conditions for re-joining HMP must be met.
Customers currently participating in the HMP program will enjoy all benefits under the new program.
If the customer has passed the mileage of the HMP program in 2022 or has dropped out of the program, HMV will support the customer to re-join the program. Customers need to replace all items skipped in previous interval compared to the current maintenance interval. HMV will support 30% of the cost of additional spare parts when customers rejoin the program.
Especially: If customers want to participate in the 7-year Warranty program, customers need to go through the 7-year warranty reactivation process and at the same time perform maintenance as recommended above to apply the HMP program.
Note:
Customers who skip any HMP maintenance interval are only allowed to return to using the program a maximum of 3 times during the program period for each specific milage
